“I didn’t wait too long… I waited just long enough to find you.”
There was a stillness in the air as Tyler spoke those words.
The kind where everything else fades—the movement, the sounds, even the weight of the moment—and all you can feel is what’s right in front of you.
NaKeia stood across from him, smiling through tears. Not the kind you try to hold back… the kind that come from deep joy. The kind that says this is exactly where I’m meant to be.
And as they stood there, under open skies just outside Huntsville, Alabama, promising forever…
It felt sacred.
Not just because of what they were saying—but because of everything that led them there.
From the beginning of the day at The Glass House Venue, there was a peace that carried through every moment.
NaKeia is one of those people you don’t forget. She is kind, gentle, thoughtful… the kind of person who makes you feel seen the moment you’re around her. And her love for the Lord is something that naturally overflows into the way she loves others.
Watching her step into this day was so special—not just because of how beautiful everything was, but because of who she is.
And then there’s the way she loves Tyler.
We’ve had the privilege of knowing NaKeia even before she met Tyler, and getting to witness this part of her story was so special. Watching the way she lights up with him… the way she just rests in his presence… it’s something you can’t miss.
If you’ve been following their story since their Downtown Huntsville engagement session, you’ve seen glimpses of this already!
She shared in her vows how she began to see the very qualities she had prayed for in a man show up in him—without ever having to ask. And with every conversation, every moment together, she brought it to the Lord.
“How sweet is our God,” she said, “that He allowed us to exist at the same time.”
Their ceremony wasn’t just beautiful—it was filled with intention.
“How sweet is our God that He allowed us to exist at the same time.”
At one point, everyone joined together in worship. Friends and family lifting their voices, praising the Lord, and acknowledging that He was the author of this story. It wasn’t just something to witness… it was something you could feel.
Even behind our cameras, we found ourselves worshipping alongside them.
Tyler spoke with so much steadiness and conviction as he promised to be her safe place, her best friend, the one who would stand beside her through everything.
And NaKeia… she spoke with so much joy and certainty.
“I vow to protect your heart the way you protect mine.”
“I vow to pray for you consistently and cover you in prayer in every season of life.”
And then she said something we don’t think anyone will ever forget—
“I need you to know that there is not a happier version of myself than the one standing in front of you today.”
It was one of those moments where you could feel just how real this love is.
Steady.
Faithful.
Full of joy.
NaKeia and Tyler, what a gift it was to witness this day. Not just because of how meaningful every moment was—but because of the two of you.
NaKeia, your kindness, your joy, and your faith are so evident in the way you love. It’s something that draws people in and leaves them better. And Tyler, the way you love her—with intention, steadiness, and care—is something so special to witness.
Together, you reflect a love that is rooted in something deeper.
Getting to stand behind our cameras, praying for you, celebrating with you, and capturing the beginning of this chapter is something we will never take lightly. We are so grateful for you both. And we already know… the life you’re building together is going to be something truly beautiful.
