Flat 51 Wedding in Downtown Columbus, Ohio

"Great is Thy faithfulness... Morning by morning new mercies I see..."

The words echoed through Flat 51 as voices from every corner of the room joined together. Parents. Grandparents. Bridesmaids. Groomsmen. Friends who had prayed for this day long before it arrived.

Just moments earlier, the worship leader smiled, picked up his acoustic guitar, and invited everyone to lift their voices together.

And they did.

As Mariana and Caleb stood hand in hand before the Lord, every voice in the room became part of the ceremony. It wasn't about polished sound or perfect production. There was simply a room full of people lifting their voices together in worship to the God who had faithfully written their story long before they ever met.

In that moment, everything else seemed to fade away.

Looking back on that moment, it all made perfect sense.

Earlier that morning, tucked among the details Mariana had carefully gathered, was a handwritten card from Caleb. As we photographed it, we couldn't help but pause as we read his words. "You are my best friend, my adventure buddy, my partner in crime, and the best part of my day." But the words that stayed with us most came a few lines later: "Most importantly, you point me back to Christ in good times and in hard times." Those weren't simply words written inside a card. They became the heartbeat of their entire wedding day. From the worship during the ceremony to the heartfelt toasts reminding them to keep Christ at the center of their marriage, every part of the day reflected the same foundation.

The God who wrote their story before they were ever born.

The God who brought them together in His perfect timing.

The God whose faithfulness echoed through every prayer, every song, and every promise they made that day.

The rest of the day was every bit as joyful. We spent the morning with Mariana and her bridesmaids before heading to the Ohio Statehouse for portraits before celebrating at Flat 51 in downtown Columbus, one of our favorite wedding venues in the city. Between the bright white brick, exposed wooden beams, and timeless industrial charm, it was the perfect backdrop for a celebration that reflected these two so well. Watching Caleb's face as Mariana walked down the aisle was one of our favorite moments of the day, and after photographing their engagement session months ago, it truly felt like we were celebrating friends all over again. (You can see their engagement session here!) Their family and friends welcomed us so warmly, and every conversation, prayer, and toast reflected just how deeply these two are loved.

Mari and Caleb, thank you for inviting us into such a meaningful day. Your wedding was a beautiful reflection of what matters most to the two of you, and we know that same foundation will continue to shape your marriage for years to come. Thank you for allowing us to witness your love for one another, your love for the Lord, and the incredible community that surrounds you both.
