As David unfolded the paper holding his handwritten vows, time seemed to stand still. A pause. A deep breath. He began to read the words etched on his heart for his beautiful bride standing in front of him. “You are my Proverbs 31 woman…”
There wasn’t a dry eye in the gorgeous greenhouse overlooking the lake at Cascata Springs as he spoke about her beauty — not just outwardly, though Juliana was absolutely radiant — but the kind of beauty that’s rooted in her deep love for the Lord. He quoted Proverbs 31:30: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Juliana wiped a tear from her cheek, smiling through the emotion. We stood behind our cameras in awe — in awe of the love they share, the God they serve, and the kind of marriage they’re building.
From start to finish, their wedding day was full of joy, deep worship, and so many moments that made us stop and soak it all in.
Juliana and David’s wedding was such an honor to capture — not just because it was beautiful, but because of the kind of people they are. The entire day was filled with faith, purpose, and intentionality. The moment we walked into the bridal suite, we were met with worship music blasting, girls dancing around with the biggest smiles, and Juliana right in the center — full of joy, laughter, and peace. There was so much energy and excitement, and it was contagious in the best way. Her bridesmaids were like family, and before the ceremony, they circled around Juliana in prayer, covering her and David’s marriage with so much encouragement and truth.
The ceremony took place in the glass greenhouse on the lake, and it was stunning. But even more beautiful was what happened inside. They worshiped together as husband and wife for the first time. Everyone lifted their voices together in praise — not just watching, but participating. It was so special to witness a wedding so clearly focused on the One who brought them together.
It was extra special for us, too, because Julia actually went to Lipscomb with David and Juliana. They were in a small group chapel together where Juliana and David led worship, and even back then it was clear they weren’t performing — they were truly worshiping. The way they led was always so genuine and passionate, and it’s no surprise that same heart of worship is what has guided their relationship from the very beginning. Watching them become husband and wife after seeing them lead others in praise during college felt like such a full-circle moment.
Every part of their day reflected their love for Jesus and for each other. Their bridal party was overflowing with the same joy and love, and everyone — from their families to their friends — surrounded them with encouragement and support. It was the kind of day that left us smiling long after we packed up our gear.
Julie and David, you two were made for each other. Your wedding day was full of so much laughter, love, and truth — and it was a joy to document every single part of it. We’re so grateful we got to be a small part of such a meaningful and Christ-centered celebration. Julie, you were an absolutely breathtaking bride, and David, the way you love her is such a reflection of the way Christ loves the church. We can’t wait to see how God continues to use your marriage to bless others and glorify Him. Wishing you both a lifetime of worship, joy, and walking hand-in-hand with the Lord.
